The River is a new play originally written by Jez Butterworth and directed by Ian Rickson. The author of this new spectacular Broadway show Jezz Butterworth, is also the creator of the hit play Jerusalem.
The show is one of the most star studded play, which features one of the biggest stars in Hollywood Hugh Jackman, who plays as the production’s main character.
Hugh Jackman began his journey to Broadway in the musical show ‘The Boy from Oz’, whose character was named ‘Peter Allan’. Along with Daniel Craig, Jackman was also part of the hit drama ‘A Steady Rain’ and he also starred as Jean Valjean in the film satire of the hit Broadway musical ‘Les Miserables’. Quite apart from the Broadway entertainment, Hugg Jackman is best known by his big screen appearance as ‘Wolverine’ in the complete six blockbuster films of the X-Men series.
Running in a 13-week limited duration, the show will be caught performing on stage at the Circle in The Square Theater.
